Practice Schedule

To request your practices, please email us at raceinfo@dragonboatlondon.ca with the name of your team and times and also whether or not your team requires a steersperson for the practices.

All practices will be held at Fanshawe Lake at the Fanshawe Conservation Area where the festival is held.   Please make sure your team is aware of the location and time of practice. We suggest that in order to make the most from your 1 hour practice time, that your team meet at the Watson Porter Pavillion 30 minutes early and make sure everyone has signed waivers and are warmed up. Once you are ready, your team should make your way to the dock area west of the pavillion and collect your life jackets and paddles and be ready to load the boat promptly for your practice time.

All teams may request one free practice time and may purchase additional practice times.  Practice fee is $50 per hour long session or  3 sessions for $100.  Practice sessions include a steersperson if required. Note:  If you do not require a steersperson on race day but require one for your practice sessions please make sure we know this so we don't assume you have your own steersperson for practices also.

NOTE:  Times and dates may be adjusted slightly.  Please check this page regularly.  Schedule is first come, first serve basis.  Boat #4 on any evening is tentative depending on available steers people. The steersperson assigned for the team is listed in red below the team name.

Note: Teams listed in blue have their own steersperson, teams in black need a steersperson.
